What is Structural Energetic Therapy ® ?
SET, developed by Don McCann in Lutz, Florida, is a body restructuring therapy that integrates Cranial/Structural techniques, myofascial unwinding, neuromuscular applications, myofascial restructuring, emotional energy release, acupressure, kinesiology and muscle testing, passive and active resistance, postural analysis, scar tissue and adhesion release, deep tissue therapy and rehabilitative bodywork. SET therapists schedule sessions based on the individual needs of the client, working with the client's problem areas. Each session runs 1 1/2 hours. SET has developed over 25 years and is constantly in a state of evolution. Eileen Sauer, LMT AL #2054, NCBTMB, is a SET graduate who completed the advanced two year SET training program. Eileen Sauer has a varied background as a computer developer, technical trainer, LMT, and real estate investor. Helping people with their healthcare issues requires good listening, communication, problem-solving and detective skills, and those with an extensive computer background are often forced to hone these skills. Add to this the hand/eye coordination and sensitivity of a gifted pianist (she is a grandstudent of the famous composer Claude Debussy, and peformed in Carnegie Recital Hall as a child).
